Etc etc...
Okay, so I promised a blog entry a while ago and didn’t deliver…
I’M SORRY!!! CAN YOU EVER FORGIVE ME!!!!
Considering at this point the only two people I know read this pretty much know everything that is going on in my life, I am not to worried about people being on the edge of their seats for another installment.
So, first the cats. No pictures today, but I will add more soon.
Willow has finally come to accept the new arrival, and he and Reivyn have actually begun to play together. However Willow seems to tire of it faster than Reivyn… who never seems to tire. Leia on the other hand, still does not enjoy the new household member. She is okay with Reivyn as long as Reivyn stays away from her. Hopefully Leia will eventually accept Reivyn.
New and old news:
New news, is the fact I am starting yet another game. This will be a Changeling LARP, using the Minds Eye Theater rules. If you are interested the web site is at www.geocities.com/precariousdreams.
Sort of old news:
We are beginning to plan for next years Wonka’s Night Out party for Convergence. This years big project, false walls, and a fake chocolate waterfall. Hopefully it should add even more for people to look at, though I think by the end of the night no one is in a position to actually look at much without falling over. I am looking forward to doing this again, I had a lot of fun playing Willy, and many people commented that they liked the portrayal, however I don’t think anyone recognizes me out of costume unless they were told. So unlike my Oompa Loompa, I don’t think I will have a stranger approach me to say how much they liked the party.
Everyday Gods is still going slowly. Not only am I busy with other things, but also it takes a while to draw the comic, scan it, and then edit it again in the computer. Eventually I hope to get a laptop that will allow me to draw straight into the computer. I know they exist, they are just expensive. (1,800 is the cheapest I have found so far.) People have mentioned the drawing pads, but I have a difficult time trying to watch the screen, and draw off to my side. I can always hope. :)
I have another Pre Everyday Gods that I want to draw; satirizing the fact air travel is becoming more trouble than it seems to be worth. Hopefully I will be able to post that soon.
I have not gotten much farther on the Xenosaga WH40K army either, though I did get my experimental UTIC soldier done. It worked well and I want to find time to work on the rest of the army, though Reivyn may make that difficult even when I do find time.
Oh, and at work today I was asked to make an e-mail about a Halloween party and I did this drawing….
Now if you notice, costume was misspelled. And I didn’t notice until after I sent it out. When asked about it, I just stated, “Have you ever tried to say costume when you can’t retract your fangs?”
Well that’s about it for now…. Until later.
